ɬ faculty engage in national dialogue on advancing the EdD
Drs. Rene Garrison, Jason Margolis, and Nicole Schilling represented the ɬ School of Education at the 2025 Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED) Convening, held Oct. 22–24 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Hosted by Drexel University at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing, this year’s convening centered on the theme “Turning the Story: Reclaiming America’s Promise through the EdD.”
The event brought together faculty, practitioners and leaders from CPED member institutions to share research, strengthen Ed.D. programs, and discuss innovations that prepare scholarly practitioners to transform educational practice and equity.
The ɬ delegation joined national colleagues in sessions and discussions aimed at enhancing the rigor and impact of practice-based doctoral education.
